In the list of BGC’s achievements and missions there was one notable absence. It had long been a dream of Richard to own an offspring of Frankel but in reality we felt it was fanciful. However, in the Autumn of 2017 we were offered Solo Saxophone and we haven’t looked back since. He is undoubtedly our flagship horse and we will forever be able to say we were “the owner of the first Frankel to run and more importantly win over hurdles” ,
If doing that wasn’t enough he became the first horse to run for us at the Cheltenham festival and we wouldn’t bet against him making subsequent appearances in the coming years.
