We set off to Southwell hoping for a winner in Atlantic Storm, but we never dreamed of having two. Atlantic gained compensation for his narrow defeat at Bangor landing the 18.10 in impressive style under a classy ride by the master Harry Skelton.
The Skelton maestros won the 18.40 with Too Many Diamonds, and there was a level of expectancy that they would land the treble with Café Au Lait, Once again ridden by Harry. Much to the surprise of everyone associated Notnow Seamus showed qualities that were far from evident at Market Rasen and Southwell previously and knuckled down to win well under conditional jockey William Marshall, giving him his first winner under rules and a first ever double for BGC Racing.
We are hoping for many more and with our successful link with Dan Skelton providing multiple winners it may not be too long of a wait.
A huge congratulations to connections.
